Detection and exclusion of dummy data or prominent persons. Blacklisting for names, email and phone numbers is possible.

For EU customers, Dabelia verifies that the existing VAT tax number is valid and, if permitted for the country, also verifies the address. Verification of other tax numbers (e.g., the American Employer Identification Number) is possible.

Enrichment of company data and contact persons (e.g., managing directors), addresses, trade register numbers etc., as well as networked companies. Enrichment is also possible via external sources such as Dun & Bradstreet.

Deduplication with Dabelia

Why is duplicate identification important?

Cost. Duplicates cost the company money and performance.

Frustration. Employees are frustrated when they have to painstakingly search for information spread across multiple duplicate addresses - if they can find it at all.

Missed sales. Promising customers are not identified because their sales are spread across multiple customer accounts.

Prevented promotional messages and missed opportunities. Duplicates reduce the value of a message when a customer is contacted more than once. Customers cannot be offered added value because data along the customer journey is missing.

This is how Dabelia identifies duplicate customer data:

  • A set of complex rules ensures that even hard-to-detect duplicates are found efficiently and as automatically as possible.
  • The value of the data is classified for this purpose.
  • The detection of duplicates is continuously optimized through the use of machine learning algorithms.

Thus, Dabelia merges or separates potential duplicates:

  • Up to a defined match score, deduplication takes place automatically.
  • Beyond that, the human decides: the system provides intelligent decision support for this purpose.
  • A deduplication board visually supports this process and provides a quick overview of the status of data hygiene.
  • In a compact data view, the person processing the data can take over relevant data with just a few clicks or decide that different companies or persons are involved.
